Blink’s Garden
Others, Community DevelopmentContributed by: Inner City Youth Alive
Blink’s Garden is a story for kids, grades 3-7, with accompanying music. It uses the metaphor of a garden to speak about community building where the characters, Blink and Moeh, spend their time in a path of rejected plants that have been pushed to the edge of their land. Ultimately they comes to realize that the health of Blink’s rejected garden and the health of their larger society is all tied together.
