Wondering how to talk to your youth group about justice? Or maybe you are looking for ways to make it more relatable. Especially when speaking about a hunger that is more than just missing their last snack!

Canadian Foodgrains Bank has created the Hunger for Justice, Learning and Reflection Guide for Youth Groups and designed it for Christian youth and school groups in Canada who wish to explore how Christians are called to respond to hunger, and other injustices, in the world.

The guide provides step-by-step instructions for youth leaders to lead groups through three 2-hour sessions. Together, these sessions help young Christians move from a basic understanding of charity to a deeper appreciation of the complex nature of the causes of hunger.

The last session guides the group through an action in which youth tell their member of Parliament why they care about people around the world who experience hunger. Each session includes suggested Bible verses and activities, such as videos and dramatic readings, to encourage further reflection and discussion.
