“I’m Dale Bolton and together with my wife, Linda, we founded the Thrive Institute.
In 2004, our lives changed on our first trip to Malawi, Africa. Until then we had never been to Africa, but we had raised money for an orphanage and on the trip, we went to see the new building.
It was touching… but also troubling.
The children there were loved, protected, educated, immunized. But with all the costs, there was only enough to feed them a diet of ugali – the equivalent of white cornmeal. I knew they could never thrive and fight life-threatening diseases on such limited nutrients. Yet all around the orphanage was uncultivated land with the perfect conditions for growing.
Linda and I decided then and there to find a way to make life-giving, disease-fighting foods available without the limitations of cost. What started as Organics 4 Orphans is today the Thrive Institute.
The online courses at the Thrive Institute are based on:
– 10+ years of hands-on experience growing health
– Over 1 million hours of training, research and applied practice
– Extensive consulting with world leaders in health and organic growing
We now have over 25 hours of instructor-led training, 90 lessons, 40 courses and 18 demonstration videos available from anywhere, on any device, at any time.”
