7-year-old Rihanata is recovering from a terrible accident where she slipped and fell into a pot of boiling sauce and suffered full body burns. Her mother Nematou’s heart sank as she knew she couldn’t afford her daughter’s medical expenses. The local Compassion project Rihanata attended arranged for the medical fees and hospital expenses to be covered.
Rihanata spent 15 months in hospital, where her courage and determination impressed everyone.

Today, at just seven years old, she’s turned a tragedy into her testimony. “The doctors said that I’d be healed, and I believe that it was God who healed me. Now I feel good without pain. Everything is back to normal, even if I still keep the scars on my body.”
