Canada has made a commitment of $5.3 billion in climate finance over five years to support developing countries in taking action to respond to climate change. Climate-smart agriculture and food systems is named as one of Canada’s four thematic areas for climate finance.

Please take this opportunity to join us in writing letters to the Ministers of Environment & Climate Change and International Development. With these letters, we are asking the Government of Canada to announce a $500 million funding package to support climate resilient food systems for those most at risk of experiencing hunger.
