September 30th, 2022 marked the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 100 Huntley Street’s special program is hosted by Crystal Lavallee, produced on location in Newfoundland. Crystal sits downs with Chief Jasen Benwoh who shares stories from the Benoit First Nation. Their journey is unique since Newfoundland did not join Canada until 1949. The Mi’Kmaq of the Eagle clan located on the west coast of Newfoundland on the Port au Port Peninsula are geographically separated from other clans.

You won’t want to miss hearing their story.
