Fraser Valley Gleaners shares God’s compassion for the hungry of the world by preparing and making available, dried apple snacks and a nutritious dried soup mix for distribution to the hungry of the world in the name of Christ. This not-for-profit organization has been in operation since 2001 and works with 60+ volunteers daily at our plant in Abbotsford in the Fraser Valley. We receive produce that is not marketable due to blemishes or size from produce growers, food distributors and farmers. Our volunteers chop, slice and dice, dry and mix, and then release our finished product into the hands of reliable, reputable distribution partners. The Gleaners partners with Christian organizations that send food for Humanitarian Aid to developing countries around the world and has been able to share this product in 40 different countries.
